Seems to be less trout but much larger than this point last year. I pretty much only fish GI in the summer.

Mid April to present has been pretty ridiculous from what I've seen. Weather nerds are also calling for a below average heat index throughout the summer, so it's gonna be one for the books.

It has been a great year. Caught more trout this year than I have in a long time. Freshwater has been outstanding also.

Fishing leeville and catching a ton of school trout, but when I do catch a bigger trout they are 3 to 5 lbs. which I have not seen since the oil spill.

The Venice area dropped off quite a bit the last two weeks, still fish around but not near the numbers of a month ago. That being said still not bad.

Bumper crop this year! We are going to look back one day and say remember the 2016 trout bite?

Now reds that's a different story they been hard to come by but mabe it's because I have been hitting the trout so hard I just haven't fished for them as much?
