Bird hunt. Pheasant and chuker were released birds on preserve. Lots of fun behind the dogs. Also did a canadian hunt but only killed 4. Sandhills were awesome. Limited all 3 hunts and every guy brought home their 9.

They are thick in south tx right now. I killed a few this weekend and cooked them up for the first time. They were excellent.

Somewhat. We are NW of there in McMullen County, just southwest of Tilden to be exact.

We've had a group coming to the fields by my house the last 10-12 years. They are there here thick right now. Wish I could pick a couple off with a .17 and pan sear with a fig glaze. But of course that is illegal.

We are closer to 16 than 624, off of Old Fowlerton Hwy/Martin Ranch Rd.

Rize has mentioned this before, we should try to make it happen one weekend next season.

Panhandles best outfitters. Great operation. Out of lubbock and Amarillo. Has hotels he uses. Cell 8063417736
Work 8064670273. His name is Mark. Biggest and best operation there. Kills 4500 to 5000 cranes a year.

Uses real mounted birds for decoys. And they get real close. Crazy to jump up on 30 or 40 of them. And they are loud.

I never thought to ask but I wonder if our ranch in Kansas has sandhills.
