It's 600 acres fenced not 200 and this isn't a pine plantation. A deer can be 10 feet from you and you won't see them in the thick south tx scrub brush. It's only my dad, brother and I that hunt it and it's enough land for us.

Feel free to bash it all you want, it's a kickass place with big deer I can take buddies down to whenever to dick around, get drunk and shoot shite year round. You won't hear me complaining about it.

To be fair, joe wasn't a troll until he started catching a lot of shite on here. After a while he said frick it and started playing along.

But can a deer see the fence from 10 feet away?

They are not your deer. Just because you put in a bunch of effort does not mean your neighbor has any less of a right to shoot that deer. We all own those deer. They belong to everyone.

think it's a pretty impressive kill considering you run a potato for a game camera and none of your feeders work

So you feel that someone who voluntarily spends a bunch of cash on their property is more entitled to the animals than someone down the road?

We don't necessarily have a problem with high wire operations in Louisiana but at the end of the day all the deer are managed from funds derived from hunting licenses and taxes on guns/ammo/sporting goods. This is why you can't go round up a bunch of deer and pin them up. This is why people who violate game laws pay restitution to the state, those animals have a value that everyone contributed to.

Like it or not, we all own those animals and we all have just as much of a right to hunt them as the next guy. Trapping animals inside of fences takes that away from people in close proximity. It's bullshite and you should be happy you're not this guys neighbor.
