Most of us ran SSRs because we drove them on the street. Believe it or not, they were pretty loud. I couldn't talk on my phone when I had them

I have a 9in lift with 37' Toyo MTs and black 22' XD Monsters. Got it when I was 18. 23 now and looking to get rid of it.

I love it and have had a blast in it but it just feels like time to get a normal truck. I've never had problems with it and if you do it right it will ride perfectly fine.

ETA: Toyos are by far the best MTs you can drive on the street with.

Swampers are mud tires. Everything else is an aggressive looking all terrain.

I only got 30k out of a set of BFG KM2s. Next set will be bias swampers of some variety. I can't see myself paying SSR money for something I drive once a week.

Right now it's looking like Bias TSLs in Q78/16

I don't really care for skinny tires because they obviously aren't gonna move as much mud and I find that they cut into the dirt faster. You think your ride is bad now, wait until you get bias ply tires.

Take a hard look at the LTBs too

The Irok ND's look promising. Try these as well.

From the trucks I have seen and been inside, IROKs do not work that well in the mud, so TIFWIW. They are regular MTs compared to the OG TSL. I have been in/seen ~20 trucks with them. pattern

It is amazing how much better in the mud they are than regular mud terrains. I used to have to be in 4wd locked to go through this one hole, and did it maybe 40 times with the old BFG MTs. Once I had Swampers, I could do it in 2wd unlocked. Hearing the clumps of mud they throw gets me hot.

IMHO, the only down side is the noise and the fact they are damn near impossible to balance. Get over that hump, and they are perfect. Siping actually works really well in the rain.
