Yes I already own a tikka. Not that I got that out of the way. I want one of these, 30-06 is caliber. Winchester m70 ultimate shadow, browning abolt 2 medallion, remington 700 long range, or weatherby vanguard s2? What say u? Thanks.

Sako
Sorry had to.
If those are your options I'd go Winchester, cause I'm a fan, but I don't like a floor plate over a magazine, so I'd probably end up with a Browning.

That is always fun. But I need opinions. I know they r all great shooters but yall yahoos opinions might give one the edge.

Browning a bolt I would go with 270 over 3aught6 though.. Put you a meopta scope on it and you can kill what ever you want anytime(late evening or early morning) you want

If I'm not mistaken, weatherby, browning, and the cheap winchesters are all made in Japan. Freedom group sucks so don't get remington. Do yourself a favor and get a savage. Get a savage weather warrior or lightweight hunter in 6.5 Creedmoor. Some of the most accurate rifles available. Also, made in the US of A.

The yahoos are going to tell you all your choices are terrible and you need to spend 3x as much or 1/3 as much as your looking at.

What are you going to do w/ your new gun?

Of the ones you mentioned I say Remington long range Hunter. It's gonna need a trigger as soon as you get it. I recommend getting a model 70 in extreme weather but it's gonna cost you more than the shadow.

I know tikka is the best. Have one.

I believe winchester is made in the Carolina's.

Savage is nice but not on the list. Out of those four which one?

Have a 30-06 that was my dads. But I don't take it in the field. To much sentimental value to me. Like the 308 but I have lots of 30-06 ammo so it gets the nod. Bout the same ballistic wise. I already have a tikka 7 rem mag that I have done a lot of improvements too. And a 7-08. Want a 308 since I have the 284 covered. 6.5 creed is on my want list for future but will be a custom gun.
