Think I just got an amazing deal

Just stopped at Academy for lunch. They had Shimano Sustain 2500FG spinning reels listed at $99. I can't find them for less than $250 anywhere on line. I'm not super familiar with them, is there some model out there that is built shitty 
. I got two. Seems like there may have been a price mess up on their part.

Not sure. Two was the most I could come home with without getting yelled at by the ole lady . Didn't ask if there were more behind the counter. There's at least one more display model in the case though.

I keep just as many baitcasters as spinning reels on my boat. I doubt many can cast further with their baitcaster than a spinning reel. Especially with the wind in the marsh.

I'm pretty sure it was only the 2500's. Which are relatively small.

Somebody's getting fired from academy... I got a 2500, the guy in front of me was getting two spooled, and there were at least a half dozen on the back counter with people's names on them.

Yeah. I went back after work to buy every one they had left. I thought about it and knew I could unload them. Should have never posted that here there were none left.
