Thought you all might enjoy this. As they say, this is the good news: the picture is of my fifth and final turkey of the 2012 SC season.

Now, the bad news: the NC season opened yesterday. I had a pair of toms within 10 yards, 20 minutes after I got started. I got my arse busted, and missed. I captured it on my trusty Lid Cam for all to enjoy.
Here is the You Tube address:

sorry, can't make it show up as a link, but the address works...

Should've left the expletives and destruction in.

Surely different than store bought, no?

I know peking ducks are not = 2 teal or woodies.

I may hate you.

I had one y-day about 300 yds and he just would not come to me. I think it may have been a jake. That's what I will tell myself.

Just remember: They are bastards! I love 'em, but holy shite, maddening! I spend an arse load of time chasing them, and only post the highs and lows! Check out the You Tube video, it will make you feel better!

My buddy bought a Go-pro for our ski trip last February and I'm trying to get him to wear his for a turkey hunt.

I'm really impressed with the quality of the lidcam. I was on the fence about buying one but after seeing your videos I might have to get one.

Congrats on filling tag number five...

I've got two weeks of dead time before hunting again in TN. Its killing me...

I did get the Haint. I gotta tell ya, I sound like shite on it. Somewhere between an angry goose and a gobbler with emphysema.

Wiltz,
Search You Tube, the guys have a very good "how to" video explaining it in sequences. I taught myself using that, and it works, with practice.

If you have ever used a duck call and can do a feed call, it sounds pretty good.

Glad you said this, I will not be buying a haint.

Better off trying to make a gobble sound with my mouth if ive got to feed call.
