The Evolutionary History of the Black Bass genus

All 8 species of black bass share a common ancestor that lived about 11 million years ago. Rises in sea level isolated different populations resulting in the evolution of most of the species we know of now.

Interesting read. Used to catch some redeye bass in the creeks where I grew up.

There's a glacier on Greenland 20 times older than
6,000 years. There are corals reefs older than 6,000 years. There are tree trunks with corresponding tree rings to living trees that are older than 6,000 years.

99.999% of geologists believe the earth is 5 billion years old. I'll take their word for it.

good info, but TD rules mandate ignoring your post because of the misuse of the word there.
