I was driving my daughter and her friend to her friends house just now and three raccoons came running across the road. I managed to kill two of three. No big deal, but on the way back, I slowed down to see how many I ran over, and I shite you not, the third one came out and I hit that one.

It's not like I take pleasure in that, but what are the odds?

On a side note, my daughter and her friend are now mad at me...like I went out of my way to kill them. Reminded me of this:

i thought we had a pact

If it was up to my daughter, I'd be at the emergency Vet right now.

coons are some loyal little dudes. Pay attention, you almost never see a coon that is run over by itself, almost always 2 or more.

Surprised by the coon hate, then remembered there's corners on this board.

I was in tractor supply today and found myself looking at the animal traps. Was wondering if I put one inside the hog trap to catch the coons eating the corn out of the trap if that would scare the hogs off.

Or, what pictures would I have when I checked the camera.

All you need is a metal 55gal drum and a 2x4 for a coon trap

That's pretty good.

I was bringing a date home one time in high school and the biggest snowy white housecat ran across the road. Caught him with bumper, and both passenger side tires in my mom's Taurus. Poor girl got terribly upset. I think she was more upset that it didn't bother me. I told her I'd swerve for a child or a really pretty cow, but that's it. Fast forward about 2 weeks, and I'm bringing her home again on the same road. Big black cat this time. Crushed. Poor girl probably still talks about that.
