Some structure in 10' of water. I moved off of it in the video but you could still see the fish holding around it.

I have a habit of putting them on the carpet. 2 minute penalty in that wind would have put me a 1/2 mile off the spot!

I want to go catch a crappie tomorrow, but I am overwhelmed by my choices. I really don't know what to do this time of year despite all the great pics showing up on Facebook.

Where are you planning on going? I am taking my Son to Chalmette tomorrow morning or I would offer to make a trip together. If graphs aren't your thing then I would recommend find some docks or bridges.

That's the problem. I just don't know. I'll ponder it long enough to just decide not to go.

The Red is high.
Spring Bayou has duck hunters(can't fish until after 2).
Saline is such a haul and I am not sure how I would attack it.

The rest would be impoundments. Talk about a crap shoot.

Sorry, I can't help with any of those areas. Was hoping you was a little further south. Pretty standard though this time of year. Structure and a little deeper water. I would go, that's the only way you will find some productive areas. You may strike out a few times but it's worth the time on the water. Ruling out areas is just as good as finding the good areas, in the long run.

I saw you Saturday LOL. I think my camp is a couple doors down from you. I was in the black aluminum Ranger throwing noodles out in the bar pit your video was shot in.
