Yea, I dropped it off to Dave Luke on Dec 31 along with a big mallard my brother in law shot that day...Dave had a family emergency come up and forgot to get them in the freezer that day, when he got back a day or so later he had to mount them so I got pushed in front of many others just by chance...both mounts came out great and I couldn't be happier as with all of his work IMO

Just gotta figure out how I wanna stain the plaque when I go back home and stain seal and screw it on and I'm done.

It probably took me 6-7 hours total from skinning the head and picking out the brains and all that junk then the boiling and blowing out the meat and crap and more boiling etc etc etc. Then my dad did the plaque for me from a piece of oak we had sitting in the yard for a year. Probably took him an hour or so for that.

8 hours of work for my first one wasn't too bad, should be quicker next time.
