Whats going on. Anyone have some inside info? Power been out for 4 or so hours.

A friend just posted on Facebook that they are in darkness, but the beer is still cold.

I left the island about 20 min before they lost power. Friend of mine still they were supposed to get it back at 830 but that radar looks pretty bad. I doubt they got it back yet.

I heard damage to substation in Golden Medow. Might have been a tornado. No power back anytime soon.

That makes sense. When I drove through Golden Meadow there were trees down and garbage cans all over the 4 lane.
