It will absolutely not be going down before the end of January.

Yeah I thought LDWF went too far with the Hwy 65 deal.

Yep seems logical.

They need a hard boundary that there isn't any confusion over, but that seems WAY overkill.

I think I've got a good idea where you are.

I'll take that little bit of information down.

Looking forward to seeing these pictures.

on Sunday, Jan. 17, all hunting, including wild hog, with the exception of waterfowl, will cease:

Why in the heck would they do this?

this would be the best chance they have at controlling this invasive species

Was there a cattle round up before that hunt? A guy in our club went help a farmer in that area move cattle last week and they let him hunt afterwards. He filmed flying over the fields and the amount of deer was ridiculous.

No cattle real near me but I know who's place that likely was.

The the river has pushed toughly 20,000 acres worth of the states finest hunting into a very tiny strip of land between it and the hills.
Sitting on the porch at night a human is unable to count the totals visable with a good mag light. We have had high water many times before but this time seems to have pushed more than the usual number out. The ground cover just never really recovered from last year leaving the acorn trees of the hills the only food source coupled with the high water. Anything above water and containing a food source is overun right now.

My son has the pics from the weekend, he is supposed to be sending them but he is 20 and it is friday night.

No doubt he was buried in books studying for his upcoming tests.

Yeah I didn't realize they were even considered "wildlife". Sure they are wild but I wouldn't consider them natural resources.
