We have a spot in Waller that was covered up with white-wings last week. Can't wait to get out there and start blasting.

I get that, but still, how hard would it be for them to change it. Still a relatively simple matter with everyone having the same gripe every year it falls like this.

Send a letter to Obama. Federal laws pretty much prohibit migratory bird seasons from starting before 9/1 and ending after 1/31. Been like that since the creation of man I believe.

I guess me saying I get it didn't leave an understanding of me knowing that I know the law and who put it out. Still doesn't change the fact that it's not that hard for them to fix it. Would do away with some states starting earlier than others being they would all start on Labor day weekend.

Helpful things, nothing really comes to mind, but they've easily destroyed recreational red snapper fishing within the last 5-10 years. So I guess we should just leave migratory birds from Sep. 1-Jan. 31, wouldn't want them looking into it too hard.

For the feds to change it? It'd take about 10 years.

It's easy to change state game laws. Federal laws, not so much. They've got bigger fish to fry.
