Suggestions for pond aeration

Have a small pond, 1/3 - 1/2 acre in size that avgs 5-8 ft deep. Pond was dug for the dirt when we built our house in 2011. Never stocked pond but we now catch all bream we want and have caught a couple 3-4 pound bass this year.
Last two Summers have noticed a nasty looking film in the hot Summer months (central Arkansas). Fish seem ok but have read of sudden fish kills in small ponds similar to mine. Have been told that most important would be some sort of aeration. Looked online and really don't want to spend $1300 on system. Any other suggestions or a redneck way to get some aeration into the pond.

walk out there in your waders with a paddle and stir the water up for 30 min every day
or
freeze blocks of pond water and throw them in every day

I have a friend down the road from my house with a pond about that size. He has a windmill on the edge of the pond that is connected to some type of aeration system in the pond. We are in the wide open country so wind power is unlimited. Only problem he's had so far was a tornado passing close by and spinning the blades so fast that it bent the shaft.

Do you have access to electricity or can you get electricity run to the pond?

You can hook it up to solar as well.

Dad has hooked up a gas powered water pump with a longer line into a deeper area of the pond and built a small ramp for the out coming water to go back into the pond. Top of the ramp is about 3-4 feet so the water coming back in splashes a little. Runs it for an hour or so every day or so, if there is no rain or wind.
ETA: We has a drought that started after he had sold some water to an O&G company and the water was low and stagnant. I believe this is what kept that pond alive.

if you have a tractor with a PTO you can back a hay rake attachment into the pond from the bank and let it run

It's only about 75 feet from the house so yes.
I have a tractor with PTO but not sure that's turn it on and leave it type of fix

you did ask for redneck options
you wouldnt have to leave it running forever, just a few hours a couple times a month
otherwise your cheapest option is a windmill and aerator...do a search you'll find dozens of set-ups in all price ranges.

LINK That small of a pond won't take much. You could probably use 1-2 small koi pond aerators as well Or find a used swimming pool pump and use it

Two cheap ways. If you have a boat with a motor, back it in and raise the lower unit to were the prop is just under the water. Kick it in gear and let it run.
Or, go to a Harbor Freight, buy a sump pump. Mount it inside a 5 gallon bucket. Cut out some of the sides of the bucket. On the discharge of the pump, add some 1" PCV pipe, having it stick above the surface of the water. Cap the end and drill a bunch of 1/4" holes. Just plug it in. You might need to drill more holes in the pipe to relive some of the pressure.

I was going to say windmill too. Logical answer if the price is an issue.

Use an aeration system such as a modad.
A fountain or pool pump will work also but you will use more electricity than the air pump.
By the way. Please explain how you got bass in your pond without stocking it?
