Mississippi parks require 3 night minimum cabin rentals.

Was kinda wanting to explore a new lake or river system. May try and find a friend that would be down with making a trip to Toledo

You can get away from the skiers. Plenty of pockets to fish in. There's even an entire side that is under the bridge where you can get away from the ski boats. It's never really that crowded with boats. Also has a pretty nice beach to go to when you aren't fishing.

Wildwood resort is nice on Toledo bend. Up around San Miguel.

D'Arbonne. Or as I refer to it, "stump lake". It is one of the best fishing lakes in the state though.

I fished TB only once in my life. It was a 4 day fishing trip. We had a guide of sorts on day 3-4 but on day 1&2 we were on our own w no clue what to do. I ended up catching the biggest bass of the week on day 2 and we did just fine w/o the guides.
It's not too hard to fish or find your way around.
I would love to go back myself, but I need some good info on cabins to rent. When I went it was with someone's private camp.

Poverty point has cabins you can rent I think.
