Toledo as well. If you wanted to expand on that just a little then Sam Rayburn would be my favorite spot. I realize that's not in La or Mississippi though...

The lodges are nice and the lake is beautiful. I haven't been back in a little while, but we used to go on the regular.

Pretty good. The lake doesn't have a lot of trees on it so the fish tend to congregate a little. Catfish, perch, bream, bass. Beware that it's a popular ski lake.

Caddo. Surprised to see it mentioned so few times around here. Beautiful lake on either Texas or La side.

Did venice last year with 5 other guys. It was awesome. 3 nights, 4 days of nothing but fishing. Caught over 150 while there. Not sure if there will be any bass there this summer

Caddo. Surprised to see it mentioned so few times around here. Beautiful lake on either Texas or La side.

Also probably the easiest lake to catch bass on also. Flip trees 3-4 feet deep. Caddo is also best marked lake in La.

Caney lake has a beautiful state park & so so bass fiahing now a days. Fish points 6-12 feet crank bait.

Never been to Toledo bend. It's about a 4 he drive from me and I wouldn't even know where to begin fishing that lake. Especially post spawn / supper time patterns and the fish deep. Also feel I'd need to upgrade my trolling motor to a 24v bigger # thrust before going.
