Building a house and want to stain the concrete floors in the living room, problem is there is a very light shoe imprint in the concrete. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this problems?

If ts just a single one or maybe two, you should be able to grind/sand it down.

If it's just 1 how deep is it? If not too deep it may be able to sand out when they prep the floor. Otherwise you're going to want to fill and smooth out to match current finish/texture. Biggest problem would be if the stain takes the filled part differently then the existing.

Did your contractor not know you wanted to stain the concrete inside before hand?

Like others said. Sand it out.

It's not many, like 3 prints and they are very light, but I'm afraid they will really pop once it is stained

Ardex feather finish if it's deep or brush it down with muratic acid might blend it but the ardex might not take the stain to well you can always grind it

They make a cleaner for it. Just remember this- whatever you do to the floors has to be done to that whole room at the least. You can't just go sand a spot or use cleaner in a spot. You have to do the whole area or it will show up when you stain it. I did my new construction home myself. Take your time, watch YouTube on it and it's a process
