St. Francisville boat launch- Miss. River

Is there a boat launch near the old ferry landing in St. Francisville open to the public? What is the condition of the launch like? I know it was involved in some sort of property dispute recently, was wondering what came of that.

I haven't launched a boat on the new one so I don't wanna lie to you about it. The old one at the end of the matfield road is still open.

what you using it for? Don't use one by ferry use the one by matfield. I have another one but I will with hold it's location

Why would you? It's not like the River is private. It can be accessed in so many places.

I launch at the Corp of Engineers and sometimes the one down the road from there.

Hell, just to show you I'll post a pic of one. It's not for pussies cause you back RIGHT in the river/current. It's not NEARLY as bad in that pic as usual cause it was last summer and very low.

Launch is great. Plenty wide. It's a bit steep so if picking up a small boat you may need to drop the tailgate.
Only downside is the parking. Most just pull up off the concrete parallel with the ramp. I would not pull up to the turn-around at the end of the road. You would be asking to get side swipped by a vehicle making a U turn.
