Here's a good resource for those of you about to battle weeds in your yards.

I think I have at least one of each in my yard.

My neighbor had to Roundup his whole yard because of torpedo grass. He brought in some dirt from the New Orleans area, and it took over his whole yard.

My front yard is a disaster right now. I've never had a weed problem til now. Gonna try weed be gon and then weed and feed. How long should I wait to spread the weed and feed after spot treating with weed b gon?

I put Weed killer down and Halts down this past weekend

As long as it didn't all wash away yet, I should be good this year

I don't recomment weed and feed

Weed first, fertilize later when your grass starts to green up

There is some clover-type plant taking of over south BR. It looks very close to white clover from a distance, but it's quite different. It grows from a central root, which makes it much easier to pull if you catch it early. It has small yellow flowers when it blooms.

I don't think it matters when you put weed and feed after spot treating.

Mid-April is the recommended time to fertilize yards.

February is the time for pre-emergegents for summer grasses. October for spring weeds.

Virginia Buttonweed takes hold in my back yard every August, and every year I forget to check for it till it's too late. This year, I will begin looking for it / treating it beginning in June.

My mower does not discriminate, it chops up everything, dog shite included. Could care less wtf is growing in the yard so long as it is cut short. Now I will edge the driveway and pool, but all this lawn care crap makes me laugh. I mean, say that out loud a couple times, "lawn care" lmfao!!!
