I'll never buy a heifer. The money paid to get a proven momma is worth the hassle.
Shout out to LSU vet crew. They showed up in a truck and piled out like Mexicans and went to work. This was more than just a pull. Even with the farm call, it's was waaay cheaper than losing the momma.

With brahmin cattle, it's not the calving you hafta worry about, it's penning/working them hot sum bitches.
