Need some items to send to a group of people who got flooded out in Houston. I'm confident they'll get the usual: clothes, shoes personal toiletries. And I'm sure they'll get all the Clorox they need
But I was hoping those of you who went through this last year could lend insight as to what you could've used but didn't get. Seems like fans and dehumidifiers and gloves would be needed. Any other tools or clean up stuff you think would be helpful? Much appreciated.

Gift certificates to somewhere that will clean the inside of a truck with cloth seats.
My truck smelled like arse for months.

But as far as supplies, contractor bags were my most used small purchase item.
That and a crowbar for demo.

I am going to a happy hour fundraiser this evening. I plan on swinging by Costco to pick up donation items. What are some needed items?

So far I have contractor garbage bags on my list.
Water?
Gift Cards?
Toothpaste?
Soap/Shampoo?

Get as heavy duty as you can find on the bags. We torn up so many when we were gutting, storing stuff.
