And if so what are your thoughts? I have heard the muzzle jump is almost unbearable with 3.5" shells. Any truth to this.

Thanks in advance baws

the muzzle jump is a fact of life in all SBE's. It has to be based on the inertia system and science bro

ETA: Doesn't take away from the SBE brand though. Great gun line and top of the line along with Beretta and Browning.

I've never noticed much muzzle jump on my SBE2 and none on my super Vinci.

I've only shot target loads out of one. Guns feels nice and is beautiful, but I missed the majority of the clays Of course, that could be operator error. FWIW I shoot Beretta A300.

I'm sure it's just like every gun. It takes a bit to get used to. I wouldn't want to spend that kind of money on one tho. At least not yet.

Just pulled the trigger on a camo SBE 3, cannot wait to pick it up tomorrow (bs Illinois waiting periods)$1820 out the door at Gander Mountain. I plan on putting a few hundred rounds through it this weekend and will report back.

Just put 3 boxes through her and she took them like a champ. I started with some 3" steel shot #3's and worked my way all the way down to some 1 once 2.75" target loads. It's a little easier to load than the two (didn't pinch my thumb once) with the same powerful smoothness. I'm really excited about the purchase. I'm meeting some baws Sunday for some more target shooting, Let me know if you have any questions

Yeah, there was a decent amount with the heavier steel loads.

Put 5 boxes through her today, all light loads, shooting trap. Started with 2 3/4 1 1/8 oz 8's and went all the way down to 1 oz. this baby ran them smooth as butter. I'm really loving this gun. It kind of reminds me of a custom SBE ii. It's basically the same gun with some nice little modifications, not bad for only 150 to 200 extra

I am sending mine to Rob Roberts to have to cone lengthened and get one of those round charging handles. I would highly suggest the cone work...
