And it was one of the most fun things I've done in my life. I wasn't expecting it to be so damn enjoyable.

I've never hunted for anything, but I've shot trap a few times.

It makes me want to get into hunting. My gf's dad is a big hunter, has bird dogs, etc. and he took us. I shot a pump 12 guage since his semi-auto wouldn't feed the light loads we were using.

The girls used a o/u 20 gauge and they didn't hit much but had a great time.

I've been watching a bunch of youtube videos on techniques for sporting clays, and I'm excited to go again.

Me and a buddy shot a full case of shells on Sunday. What kind of auto wouldn't cycle those loads?

Probably an older benelli chambered for 3.5.

They weren't designed for low brass.

I got $5 on Browning A5 with the friction tube set for heavy loads.

My early 70s 1100 cycles damn near anything you put in it. It even ejected the 3 inchers I put in it one hunt. Wouldn't trade that thing for the world

The odd part there is we all have super blacks from 2002ish that wouldn't cycle 2 3/4 low brass worth a damn.

After 300+ rounds of 3.5, it got better. Still not a 100%.

It's addicting for sure.

Here's my favorite clays video: LINK

I shoot NSCA. It's a great way to meet other shooters and get some good advice for getting better.
