yes, they mortally wound the fish, then release them all the time. the fish swim around for a bit before dying so the lie is that they are mass killing fish they shoot. everything they shoot will die from it, but they only keep some of them

Quit making shite up. That’s a damn lie and if it’s not and you know someone who’s done this you should call LDWF on them next time they go out.

Show me which Gulf State allows bow fishing for redfish besides Louisiana.

Alabama - bow fishing is not allowed for game fish.
Florida - does not allow spearing (how they define bowfishing) red drum.
Mississippi - only invasive species can be taken by bow.
Texas - only allows bowfishing for non-game fish.

Louisiana is the only gulf state that allows it for red fish, which is what this thread is about.

Well thats just a straight up lie unless you go with some real POS "sportsman". You dont shoot at questionable size fish, most nights there are plenty to choose from
