We've had a good bit flying in every evening down on the farm the past few weeks, but all this week it looks like that number has gotten slimmer and slimmer.. They must know what Saturday is

I think it was 2 years ago we had a little front come through and it pushed all the doves out. Been keeping my fingers crossed it doesn't happen this year. Been seeing a lot but like you, numbers have been decreasing

Weather looks like crap. Have been seeing birds, but not like I was 2-3 weeks ago.
Have no idea what 8" of rain will do to them.

Find some water. Given the drought conditions this year, they will be congregating around the few water holes in your area.

Since my last report, my hunting spot has been upgraded from a paid hunt in Baskin to a free hunt in Rayville. Trees, pond, sunflowers, millet, and catered bbq.
