Been living at my house going on 4 years now. I've never saw any snakes good or bad. Taking the trash out earlier there was a copperhead near 2 ft on my porch. What can I use to keep this from happening again? My little boy loves to play outside and I don't want anything to happen.

I know there is a granular product called Snake-Away. I have no idea if it works or not, but that is a starting point for some research. Unless you buy some king snakes and turn them loose in your yard.

A 5 year old kid just got bitten by a rattlesnake somewhere in Alabama because he thought it was a toy.

Don't like snakes at all. Not a chance I'll be buying any. Snake is dead. Not sure if there are more around being that one was small.

Look on Amazon. There are different repellants. You could probably ask a pest control company what is best. Good luck. Even a small copperhead is dangerous.

Snakes are mesmerized by those flamingo ornaments, and eventually go into a snake coma. Allows the hawks to swoop and attack. I don't know whether this works on a house that isn't chartreuse?

13 kids were killed by dogs in 2016 in the US. 2 have died from snakebite since 2010.

Mother in law lives on a bayou and her little island is surrounded by swamp. The only snakes I've seen around her house were near the water. She sprinkles garlic powder in all her flower beds like once a month. It's weird but I can't argue. shite works.

Consider it your bitter enemy and rain fire and brimstone down on it.

Decapitate the snake and hang it from your porch, it sends a solid message to other snakes
