Unlike some snakes corn snakes and king snakes can become quite tame. It is a shame someone killed it.

It amazes me that all the hardass country boys in LA are scared of harmless snakes or can't even identify 'em. Pussies, and uneducated ones at that.

I agree. I don't mess with snakes unless they are putting me in danger. I'm not scared of them either. We had a water mocassin stow away in our boat hull once. My dad wanted to shoot it. In the hull

Net + scoop + snake = dump in water.
