Found in SE Georgia. Cats killed it inside front doorway.

How big was it? I have a vote for Eastern Garter snake, especially if it was over 12" long.

Could be dekays, but I’ll go with eastern Garter Snake. They don’t always look the same.

It's funny, I can find pics of both that kinda match. Center line throwing me off. And as I have posted before, we have nothing but ribbon snake looking garters here.

They can be very similar. It would be much easier to tell with this one if we had a side view of the head.
