Anyone make their own bait for slat traps? I used to buy from a guy in Manchac but I don't think he is around anymore.
Any tips? I was going to get a 5 gallon bucket and throw some different cheeses and chopped up meats in and let it merry in the sun for a while

A can of dog food, with holes poked in it.

I am interested in buying some slat traps...do you know where I can find some good ones? Sounds like you have some experience with them and I would hate to buy the wrong thing.
