Is there anywhere to bring a group to shoot skeet around Marksville? One of our vendors is bringing a group and they are staying at the casino and want to go shoot.

Long River Lodge is about 45 minutes south and has a very nice setup. If there is something closer, I'm sure someone will chime in...

you don't have a pasture to let them shoot for the day? Probably could get a fifth or two and some cash

LaDWF has a skeet range with 5 stations at Woodworth. Limited hours and no drinking, of course.

Actually that's not a bad idea, hell I could even get a couple throwers as well.

I've shot at the honey brake range before. It's an awesome setup. Think it's a 15 station stand with pairs at each station. If you're gonna go there you need to email Paul ferrel. You can find his email on their website mentioned above.

Honey Brake is 10- 15 miles closer -- but I think Long River Lodge is a quicker trip from Marksville (better roads).

Long River Lodge has a great sporting clays course and two very nice five-stand installations. Haven't yet shot at Honey Brake.
