I'm new to gun ownership and this was my first pistol purchase. I love it but have nothing to compare it to. Anybody familiar with this series and have any feedback on what kind of weapon I own?
Also, I'm looking for a conceal and carry holster for this weapon. Anyone carry one, it is the standard size...

Congrats on the purchase!

Guns are like tattoos...this won't be your last

I don't know much about the P320, but my first gun was a P228 and I love the hell out of that gun. Sigs are excellent guns

Congrats you picked a winner! Currently my favorite handgun on the market as far as polymers go. As far as comparables go you could compare it to the Glock 19 or Glock 17 I guess.

Do you conceal & carry? If so do you have a holster you recommend?

I do conceal although I use a subcompact. Yours is a full size so it will be harder to cc. The good thing about the Sig 320 is the frames are modular so If you find that on too big and bulky to carry you can get the compact frame shipped directly to your door. Just pop out the firing unit and put it in the new frame.

There are a ton of holster options though. I use IWB (inside waist band) holster when conceal carrying. When hunting i'll carry on my hip with a Fobus Paddle holster.

I have the P320 compact (I believe that's the one). It is unbelievably accurate and shoots incredibly well. Especially for the money.

I did put a new apex trigger on mine. It's a straight trigger and let's you hold lower on the trigger.

I haven't carried mine but don't think you would have any problem doing so.

Watch this video for a review, size comparisons, and how to remove the firing unit and change frames.

I do. I never see people with a single tattoo. Anyways, to the OP, I have never shot a P320, only handled it. Grip was a bit thick for my liking but it pointed well and felt light. I liked it. As far as holster recs go, I have no clue.

The last holster I got (for a 1911) was from El Paso Saddlery. Check them out...very well made and lots of options

Anyone that would tell you to sell the p320 for a Glock has never shot them side by side.

Excellent choice for your first handgun!

To carry this thing concealed, I agree with everyone else that you should get a smaller frame for it.

Then again if you plan on getting multiple guns anyway that would be the easiest solution - buy a small compact or subcompact handgun also and keep this one at your bedside at home.

I've got a couple customers that use the blackpoint tactical leather wing holster for concealment. It can be worn either Iwb or owb. It's pretty dang comfortable and very well made.

If you are ever in the Hammond area come on by and check them out.

We also stock the straight apex trigger replacement.

I have two 226s and I think I prefer shooting the 320.

And, I apparently didn't read Citica's msg very well.
