Should I replace these on my boat trailer?

Think these bunk brackets and swivels need replacing? I replaced the brackets that drill into the bunks last summer and this would complete the job.

If it's bad enough that it's come to your attention to ask the question, with a trailer the answer is always yes.

They look bad, but honestly they're probably fine. I recently took a wire brush to a 35 year old trailer and it was incredible how well the steel had held up. All bets are off in saltwater, but surface rust usually protects the actual structure.

Might need to invest in a case of Kroil or PB Blaster, but I think you are going to need a torch set up to break those bolts loose.

Those things are so rusted, just a giant breaker bar and the bolts will snap right off

We just use a grinder.
OP, Sturdybuilt.com unless you live close to a decent trailer place.
