True story: My dad had a pellet target that was a box with a 2" thick piece of clay inside it. He'd used it to target practice in the backyard with his Beaman Crackbarrel or Webley Osprey (that was a bad arse pellet rifle).

I used to take the clay and fold it over in half and then shoot my 22 at it from down the hall in the house. My goal was to try to create the perfect mushroomed bullet.

Dad put a quick stop to that when he got home one day and smelled the burned gunpowder. That was one of the THREE times in my life I felt what it was like to have a police belt whipped upside my arse.

When I was at school at Auburn we went outside our trailer one night ( hold off on the trailer jokes lived in it for 4 years and sold it for more than I paid for it.) and shot the Auburn/Opelika phone book with a .22. Damn Auburn/Opelika phone booth is only about 1/2" thick. Dumbass neighbors called the cops and we convinced them that it was only fireworks. We also used to shoot our bows down the hallway of the trailer. We got pretty good with that 15 yard pin.

When I was a dumb little kid with irresponsible parents we used to do that. We always had shite tons of fire works and a fallen tree's stump in the back yard. We shot the .22 often. Balled up and shot the 7mm once and 12 ga once. Shot many pistols and a couple AR and AK's cops were called many of times and when we saw them come through the gate we would shoot off a mortar round or one of those 100 report black cats. They always laughed because they just thought the neighbors were crazy with a stick shoved up their arse. We were in BR so the fireworks were illegal but we only did it around holidays. We were smart for being stupid.
