I was just confused why someone with a fricked up transom on a new boat wouldn't bring it back to the dealer

It could have been complete negligence/OE or that he didn't care about spending some cash in exchange for a faster turnaround time. I didn't ask how he cracked it. I did watch them cut open the transom though and it was definitely a big "wtf is this" moment

227XTS probably

Keep in mind that this boat is 1'longer and 3" wider than the frontier which makes it 350lbs heavier. You may want to jump to at least a 200 sho or f250 motor which may push you out of your price range. Looks like a nice boat though.

Yeah, I noticed that right off the bat. I found a few. All were out of my range with 200+hp or had 150s on them.

Looking for some insight on what i should ask for my old boat. I got a steal on the boat when i purchased it due to some minor things that were wrong with it. Since then i have added a few things and also repaired the minor issues. I am bad about thinking something i own is worth a million bucks. I would like an honest opinion on what the boat is worth. It is a 2010 Xpress Center Console HD Model. It has a 2008 Yamaha 90 2-stroke with approx 250-300 hours on it. It has the redfish package which is pretty much all SS fittings. The boat has a minn kota 70 big foot series trolling motor and a 8' minn kota talon. It has 3 blade SS prop with a bobs manual jack plate. It also will come with a Lowrance Elite 7. It has kenwood marine speakers and kenwood head unit with radio, aux connection, and cd player. It has your normal wear and tear on the hull with a few minor scratches. Nada guide average retail price is right at $16,000.

Whats the OBs thoughts on list price?

Without seeing pictures id say not $16000. Id ask that but id take $10-12k and run.

I may be off but I'm just going off a 7 yr old flat bottom hull, 10yr old 2 stroke. You won't make your money back on accessories but they will help move it faster

That is what I was thinking. I was hoping to get a little more than 10-12k. But I agree I shouldn't back away from an offer in that range.

I doubt it's worth 16k, but people ask ridiculous amounts for their boats all the time. So you never know, you might get someone to bite.

Just take a look around LA sportsman. You'll see what I'm talking about

Just for comparison.

I bought my 2000 Sea Hunt 20ft triton model with a Yamaha 150 HPDI on a double axle aluminum trailer for $6500 in 2010

So I would guess your boat is worth around 8-9k maybe

My Nautic Star was 1 year old with 18 hrs on motor and was 33k.

That was for a 214xts a 150hp.

Going to be hard finding a 200hp boat with low hours in that range

The 2104 would match with the 215xts or 2140 sport both are just over 21feet 98 inch beam on NS and 99 on frontier.

The 214xts that the 215 replaced is a 92 inch beam. The XTS is the tourney line which has a little bit better fit and finish and 3 jump seats.
