Puglias had Shimano curados on sale for $126. That includes a free spool of 30 lb power pro. Also have Penn Battles listed at $59.

Never heard of the place, but that makes two of us. I love the battles.

I haven't purchased a new reel in probably 15 years. My old ones are still in great shape, so I just have no need. I fish all the time, but take great care of my equipment.
Are Penn's still great reels? I have an older one and have heard that Penn sold out to another company and are not as good? The reason I ask is because my nephew is getting to the age where the snoopy zebco ain't going to cut it anymore.

This is not a troll, I am just ignorant on the subject.
