Bull sharks have the highest level of testosterone of any animal on the planet. It really is amazing no one has been seriously injured or killed.

I have always been fascinated by sharks and have read quite a few books detailing shark attacks. The bull shark is probably responsible for alot more deaths than all other sharks combined but the 3rd world countries don't have a reliable way of recording them.

If there is any connection to the gulf I assume there are sharks in it. The problem is spreading in a lot of places. Thank god the waters here are too cold for that to occur here. I can handle the cold water, can't handle not being able to jump in the nice water in the summertime. Have seen shows about the problem in Australia. Met some folks from there last september and he confirmed what I saw. He says you can hear them thrashing about in the canals and such.

The Hammond newspaper had a story a year or two ago about one being caught near Manchac. I've also seen a picture from the early 1900's of one that was caught in Blood River near Carter Plantation in Springfield.
