Damn, just read a bunch of reviews on Star Tron. That's some badass shite! Gonna pick some up tomorrow. Thanks GreaseMonkey.

It's some good shite.
I use to use nothing but seafoam and stabil, until I found startron. I don't tell many people around here about it because it would put me out of business

Gonna have to test it. Put some in a can of fresh gas. Do each in one can and poor in a 16oz bottle. You can test for separation like that. It will make you sick to see what regular ethanol fuel does on it's own.

Ethanol fuel only takes 2 weeks to go bad.

my chainsaw sat 4 a year and a half with startron in it and it fired right up last time I used it without changing the fuel.

2 strokes gum up worse because of the oil in the gas

YOu can bet I will try it. Gonna use my seafoam still but will try it in something.
So will startron help in ethanol free gas?

I like the Startron Ethanol addative. I use either it or Stabil for any E10 gas I use in small engines or put in cans.

But, for cleaning up a gunky carb, I still use the seafoam.

Now - here is some info I ran across concerning the price of Seafoam vs an alternative. I HAVE NOT TRIED THIS YET BUT PLAN TO.

The cleaning agent in Seafoam is Naptha. (seafoam is made up of 30% Naptha, 50% stabilizer, 20% rubbing alchohol.

If you are purely looking for the cleaning agent - not for long term storage, use the Startron or Stabil for that - You can buy 99% high grade Naptha at Walmart - Coleman Camp Fuel. 3x the concentration as Seafoam at half the price.

I have only used the spray method which some claim is worthless. I am afraid to start pulling hoses, and would not know a PCV from a PVC from a vacuum cleaner.
