Anybody seeing bucks chasing? I hunted hard last two weeks and saw one spike pushing 3 does. That's IT! Traditionally these past two weeks would be the height of our rut. Just not seeing it in more than 15 hunts.

Hunted hard the last two weeks in Woodville. Haven't seen as much chasing as we normally do. Two good 8's were killed but only one was following a doe. I don't think the rut has peaked yet

Hunted all week. Starting Thursday the 1.5-2.5 year olds started pushing, Friday the 3.5 year olds started pushing mainly staying out of fields, Saturday I had a beautiful 3.5 year old chasing aggressively in the food plot I was on.

Unfortunately for me, I think the mature older bucks will probably start exposing themselves tomorrow while I'm at work.

Also here in woodville. The bucks that our members killed haven't been crashing, but seeing a lot of rubs and scrapes. No luck for me though

Wilkinson is a big county. Centerville line and Ft Adams are on two different schedules.

Last two weeks here in centerville o saw chasing. Now I'm seeing does with black haucks and they are calm as can be with no bucks in sight

I hunted Woodville last week and killed an 8 point on a doe, but other than that I saw two 6 points sparring and saw one other buck on a doe I jumped but couldn't tell how big he was. Lots of scrapes and rubs being touched up. I wish I could have stayed for another week.

I walked up on a doe this morning and watched her. She walked a 50 yard circle and took a dump and went back in the thicket and bedded down. Almost sure a buck was in there with her so I backed out. I believe they are in the breeding faze here.

Thanks for the report, FTF. Weather looks manageable this weekend.
