He chased the guys for over 40 minutes. Then the husband swung first. This is not self defense. The court agrees with me. Nothing the couple did was right. Nothing. They wouldnt be in jail if what they did was legal.

The guy who got his arse kicked who went to jail deserved to go to jail. He could have just as easily driven on rather than start a fight. Gets what he deserves IMO

If 2 dudes are stomping my arse in the ground (all of the other details excluded of course) I would want my wife to bring my piece to me!!!!
So like I said, that wasnt the dumb move....the dumb move was putting themselves in the position of being the aggressor and then having to turn to that line of "defense"....if you want to call it that in this situation?

Even then, they followed the guys to their home. Their property.

I agree.
But fortunately, we have the rest of the story. Because of what this guy did, nothing he could have done would have been legal. You have a right to protect yourself but like another poster said, you cannot punch a guy in the face then shoot him when he swings back. This is exactly what this guy did. Plus

If I am cutting my grass in my front yard and 2 dudes pull up and start curb stomping me and my wife sees it out the front window...hell yeh I want her to bring me my piece....or shoot them herself...1 or the other!
