Haven't seen anything on here lately about that area. Has anyone been lately? Dusting off the boat finally next weekend and will be checking out some old spots from last year

Should have asked about a boat brand then slowly moved in with the fishing questions.

I caught reds along the Borgne shoreline all during june. Mistly with gold spoi.s, but also chartreuse plastics and live skrimps. Trout were harder to find and ee tried every rig at least once.
Im in the Philippines for a few weeks now, ao I wont hit the lake again until late July.

Unsure of your boat size, but we went fishing Lake Catherine this past 4th weekend and wore out the bass.

Care to elaborate a little more on the area and baits?

Can elaborate on bait definitely. Water was stained so we were using Spartacus Vortex shad(black w/ chart. tail) on a spinner bait. Tried jigging but did not have any luck. Spinner bait was key. Tried all sorts of colors but that was what they wanted. Almost every single one of them had bellies full of small crabs and nothing else. Use a little heavier jighead to bust through the grass but make sure that is where your fishing.

I think we are going to make the run across Lake B and try the shoreline/mouth of canals along the Biloxi marsh. Would like to pick up some reds

Go east to Isle Au Pitre for the Trout. Bayou Biloxi too fresh

Any reds still hanging out around the marsh in The Rigolets?
