Cool video of different brands of rifles shooting the same load through an obstructed barrel. Just a heads up the American brand rifles do not fare so well.

What method was used to obstruct the barrels ?

Well I guess this video settles it. I'm getting rid of my rifles and buying some that are ok to fire with obstructions in the barrel.
Wait. There are none. Never mind.

How did that happen?
No clue. Choke tube was seated properly but went flying about 10 yds and he was using buckshot, not slugs. Split all the way past the gas block.

Speaking of barrel obstructions, do any of you put a piece of painters tape, etc. over the muzzle to keep dust and other debris out of the bore?

No but there are some that will not blow your hand off if something does malfunction.

To us viewers the results are inconclusive. What was in the barrels? Were they consistent with how far and tight the obstruction was? Were all rifles the same caliber?
To me the only sure thing it proves is the video maker has very poor taste in music.

All were the same caliber with the same charge. All were completely obstructed.

I use the finger tip of a latex glove and electrical tape when hunting in snow to keep the muzzle from icing.

So do people not check their barrels for obstructions these days....cause me personally I run a damn bore snake through the barrel of any gun when I take it out of the safe to go shoot it.....just seems like a good thing to do to me.
