None now. Probably buying a 12 this week. Then again, history says I will buy nothing and then bitch about it.

I cannot commit to an answer to an answer right now.

But seriously, it boils down to where I began-buying a great seat that just happens to have a kayak under it. Biggest problem for me with that is, those boats are all heavy.

Where do you normally launch? If you launch from an actual boat launch, the weight shouldn't be much of a problem. If you have a carry it a ways, it can be an issue.

There is no normal. I generally have to carry. I just want a light one. The wheel on the Slayers does mitigate this somewhat. I actually liked it on the 14.5.

Didn't you say you were interested in the Cuda LT as well? There was a couple of them for sale in Houston for $1200 each.

And I hate the wheel on my Slayer, I've been meaning to take it off.

Somewhat. I hate the bottom being white. Looks like a Pelican

I've pretty much eliminated Jackson products. I need zero in hull storage.

I see people saying that. I'll never understand it. Hell, even if it's just from where I store it to the truck, it's worth it.

Are you trying to use it with the boat loaded?

I think if it was bigger, or maybe 2 wheels it would work alot better. When loaded it wants to flop side to side, when trying to load it into my truck(lifted F250 ) the wheel tries to roll backwards once I have the nose on the tailgate. Can't load it backwards because I have a rudder. When I do want it to roll it gets stuck in a crack, when I don't want it to roll it acts like a total little count. It's good for moving it around the shop or concrete and that's about all. Gravel, limestone, or even uneven pavement is it's enemy. Nothing makes me want to set shite on fire like being exhausted from fishing all day and that little wheel being what separates me from an easy load up and a beer in the truck.

Just saw that Adam Harbuck posted on Facebook about having too much inventory and willing to work some deals this week on kayaks at his store in Shreveport. Might be worth heading up there or at least calling him.

If you have facebook, here's a link to his store page: HOOK 1 Louisiana

Wow, I've had nothing but good experiences. But, I haul to the water unloaded. The Native owner's site has pics of the double wheel mod. Looks like something even I could do with one trip to Tractor Supply.

Like this,

I'd be willing to give something like that a shot as long as it doesn't drag or collect trash in the water. Honestly I wish the Slayer just had a replaceable keel guard like the Cuda, I just drag that thing all over the place and give zero shits.

He and I have been messaging. I am just waiting on the call that says the Slayers are in. I'm leaving for Shreve that second. Lizard Lick and Grey Storm. I'll be able to see a Slayer 12, Ride 115 max and Pescador Pro in the same room. I shall be leaving with a boat.
