I am looking for a trail cam that I can remotely access the pictures from home via computer and/or cell phone. What are the recommended brands and models and are there any issues like battery life that I should be concerned about?
Any help is much appreciated!

You have to have 3G coverage wherever you put the game camera.
You have to pay a monthly subscription charge.
The camera and service is expensive.
---This was the case last year when I researched them. Great idea, and hopefully they'll improve the technology soon, and decrease the price. I could see major improvements making this the next great thing in hunting accessories.

Moultrie was the best we found last year, but we decided against them because we didn't have good signal out where we wanted to put them.
We are exploring the idea again this year.

Just found this Moultrie for $130 (reg price $360). May be worth getting one to test out.
From the Moultrie website:
The entry level data plan only costs $29.99 per month. This plan will allow you to transmit approximately 238 images per month.
Yes. You can make your account inactive for 3 months of the year. Your monthly bill will be reduced to $9.95 / month during the inactivity. You can reactivate your plan to start sending pictures again at any time.
