found one used I like and have a couple questions.
first, this is for my boys when old enough and myself for next year or two ha
how hard will it be to find a youth stock compatible with the detachable magazine? Any ideas what an inexpensive stock might run? I have looked some and not much luck yet.
My other minor concern is will 24 in barrel be an issue for 6-7 yr old. I would not think so but wanted some opinions.

Here us one for 92.00. Since you didn't mention a caliber, I chose a short action, but they have long action models as well. As far as gun length, I do think shorter is better with kids. Will they handle the weapon when hunting or you? Will they have a good rest to shoot from? At that age I would only practice with 22lr or a very small center fire.

thanks for the link!
they will be hunting with me at all times and from a shooting house, so with a good rest.
7mm-08 is the caliber of choice. Shooting Managed Recoil Loads
