Where in denham/Baton Rouge have you gotten your arrows reflectched? How easy/cheap is it to do it yourself compared to having someone else do it?

Fletcher, $30-$100
Feathers/vanes $15-$50
Glue $10
Acetone $10

Rough cost of doing it yourself. Cost goes down to just the vanes on your second refletch.

If you do decide to refletch your own, I highly recommend the fletching tape and then dropping a dot of glue on each end.

Quikfletch. End thread.

If you can boil water, you can fletch arrows. I have shot numerous deer and can split my own arrows as far as accuracy goes.

If you plan on doing this for friends or as a hobby, it's a fairly cheap hobby to pick up. If you're just looking to fix a few arrows quick before you hit the woods, quick fletch and you're good to go. Cheap, easy, accurate.

I like the shrink fletch for convenience and I've never had a problem with accuracy with them. They look sharp and there are a variety of colors. One thing I will add though is to very slowly lower them in water. It allows it to shrink and push any air out as you lower it down into the water.
