I don't mind eating a boar as long as you are meticulous cleaning it and then give it a couple of days in a salt/vinegar ice water solution to draw all that shite out of them. Last one I ate was about 130 lbs boar that I did that with then smoked the hams and oh man... if you're throwing that away you're a fool.
That said, I've let 300 lb'rs lay and put a camera on them to film the feast of the scavengers.

Be a lil tough to eat but will make some fine sausage. Just add some fat and season well.
