Any recommendations on where to buy a Ranger RT188 aluminum bass boat. I have look at Cabelas however they were not helpful and never returned my call.

Only other dealer that I know of around BR is Aqua Marine in Denham. They flooded and are remodeling but that is where I bought mine a couple years ago. Keep in mind their service department is 100% complete shite and can't fix a damn thing so be prepared to bring it elsewhere for service. If I had to do it all over again, I would have found a better dealer within 100 miles or so and just drove to get it.

I bought my boat from Aqua Marine as well, and I also bring my boat elsewhere for service.
Two other dealers
H&H marine in Houma
Blacks outdoor & marine in Lafayette
Don't know anything about either one other than they are Ranger dealers.

Thanks for the info guys. I heard Aqua had a poor service department. I will look up the two places you mentioned.

I've been looking hard at them too. Prices pretty much stay the same from Florida to Texas. Haven't had any luck finding a slightly used one either. Found a really good deal on one in Indiana, decked out with two power poles, but a tree fell on it and damaged the compartments and no telling what else

Real deal marine in Pineville.
They have a lake right there to run the boat before you leave.
