Question regarding shoes for fishing

I've always just wore flip flops or went barefooted when going offshore fishing and now that I'm getting older it's starting to kill my feet not having cushion under them all day on that hard surface.
My father has some of the Shimano brand boat shoes and was wondering if anyone had other suggestions for shoes I should take a look at.
My buddy wears crocs but he almost busts his arse constantly because they just don't grip to the boat surface well.
Any suggestion is much appreciated, TIA.

I wear reef flip flops with the air pocket in the heel

I wear crocs. I fish on boats with carpet though so slipping isn't a worry.

Columbia drainmakers.

I got some of these and my buddy's gave me hell about them, but I kinda like them. Easily will replace crocs and they look alot better.

i have plantar fasciitis and need support. I finally found some very comfortable sandals called orthaheel. if you don't care for the brand just google orthodic sandals and they have several types that help foot pain when on your feet long term. Lots of them have good grip for fishing as well.

I'm looking for comfort, not really worried about looks as long as my feet do not hurt when the day is over and they have good grip on the boat and have non-marking soles too.

Teva Omnium. Versitile, cool, toe protection, non-marking.

Thank y'all for the help, just wondering though, can I find these in the big stores (BP, Cabela's, Academy, etc) or do I have to order online?
