Question about a "pot "

Buddy was in the blind with a guy that was cooking biscuits in a hinged metal pot. Said he would put canned biscuits in it, and close it. Turn it half way through and biscuits were done. Anyone heard of this? He's looking for one now and can't find one .

I have one almost identical to that in my shop. It was here when I bought this house. Never have hooked it up to gas to see if it works or not. Guess I need to try to find a use for it. Do they even sell those type of heaters anymore?
